Q1: What motivated you to Co-Found Kai Fong Tour?

Playing hide and seek and running across the streets when I was little, attending local primary and secondary school…Cheung Sha Wan witnessed my growth from a kid to a teenager. Digging deeper into this neighbourhood, I realised everyone has a good story to share. Volunteering experience drove me to start Kai Fong Tour as well. In UST Connect, I participated in different services and acted as student leaders. Also, I enrolled in an MBA entrepreneurship course at university. It combined lectures and competition, we teamed up and helped social enterprises to solve real-life difficulties. I learned a lot from these enterprises, especially how did they operate. After that course, I started to wonder question is there a sustainable way to serve society. Those projects, volunteer services were often one-off and always come to an end, I wondered is there something that could last. This gave me the “why” to start Kai Fong Tour: have participants know the neighbourhoods in a business model through tour guides and training.
